I think this is over-priced, essentially paid $59 for the vac and $70 for the battery which I mostly use with the Stick vac in this Platinum line. The Owner's Manual states that the battery must be removed before attaching or removing the 'optional power brushroll'. Hoover currently does not have the power brushroll in production but its addition to the handvac will be a real plus. I will go for it as soon as it's available. As it is, it's suction is very good but the nozzle is not very effective on furniture with cat hair with or without the swing-up brush assembly.
