I bought this in July 09 and by the end of October 09 it only holds a charge for about 2 minutes. I loved it when it worked. I used it everyday and cleaned the filters after every use then returned it to it's charger. I guess I expected a $50 vac to last longer than three months. My understanding is that the battery is not replacable. I have contacted Dirt Devil and am waiting for a reply but I don't have great expectations because battery is not listed on their warranty.Get more detail about Dirt Devil M083414 Extreme Power Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner.
